Scope of Work:  To upgrade AVEC’s bulk fuel storage tanks in Scammon Bay, Alaska. The project will include refurbishment of 6 existing vertical tanks constituting about 50,000 gallons of fuel storage and the purchase of 2 reconditioned horizontal tanks totaling about 56,000 gallons that will serve the AVEC power plant, construction of a new secondary containment cell for the tanks, and new fittings and piping. Six derelict tanks will be disconnected, cleaned, cut up and disposed of into the local landfill.
