Scope of Work:  The City of Shaktoolik's (City) 40 year-old community water storage tank has been damaged in several recent storms, and has no insulation oin the roof and a large portion of the sideall. The lack of insulation has resulted in an estimated $22,000 per year in unnecessary heating costs, based on an energy audit completed by the ANTHC in 2011. The City has been working with the Denali Commission, Norton Sound Economic Dev. Corp and the State of AK's Village Safe Water Program to acquire the needed funds to repair the entire water storage tank insulation system.
