Scope of Work:  This construction project will rehabilitate 8 miles of King Salmon and Naknek community roads that function as the Borough’s major bus routes. During the winter, school buses cannot pass in several areas due to damage from road surface rutting and washed-out culverts. This rehabilitation/repair project will bring the bus route roads up to applicable standards, creating safer conditions for school buses and other vehicles. This project will also result in substantial maintenance savings over the life of the improvements.
