The Denali Commission is providing $500,000 to the Alaska Partnership for Economic Development (APED) for development of a statewide strategic plan for economic development. The APED is also attempting to secure private sector funding as well as funds from the Economic Development Administration (EDA). The APED is comprised of all of the Alaska Regional Development Organizations (ARDORs).
Amend 1 - The purpose of this amendment is to provide changes to the scope relating to the budget and to
extend the performance period of this award. This amendment will allow Alaska Partnership for
Economic Development (APED) to adopt and implement an industry cluster based method,
which is an internationally recognized form of strategic planning.
