Scope of Work:  The Kake to Petersburg Intertie Planning Study included planning, alternative route evaluation and selection, economic analyses and preliminary permitting activities. The intertie will connect the community of Kake on Kupreanof Island to the interconnected electric systems of Petersburg and Wrangell and will transmit surplus hydroelectric power, thereby offsetting diesel generation in Kake.
