Scope of Work:  The proposed project studies the feasibility of the construction of a submarine and overhead electrical transmission intertie between Anchorage and Fire Island, a substation, a barge landing and roads to wind turbine sites. An intertie project would make private investment in wind turbines feasible and the south end of the island could support up to 100 MW of wind turbines.
